Brightcove is the video host. It appears their primary focus is business sites ofeering "internet television" capabilities, but they also have a public/personal hosting service similar to youtube with what appears to be a cleaner codec.
The G9 has pretty darned good video. My wifes A620 has pretty darned good video too. I think Canon has a leg up on Olympus in the video department. Reading through varius reviews, it appears their super zoom camera has the best video of just about any point and shoot. I've been using the "standard" resolution as opposed to the high resolution they offer so far.

Good looking video but there is consistent background noise. :(
