Suddenly our house seems very quiet.

This was a very sad day for Pat and I. Our German Shorthaired Pointer passed away this afternoon, about 2 weeks short of her 15th birthday. She's had a rough go of it the last few months, giving us several scares, but kept plugging along. We'll miss her greatly.

We've got friends and family who read the blog, I thought they might want to know.

I lost a German Shorthair Pointer, just before her 6th birthday to lymphoma cancer 4 years ago. Her name was Jaz. I am sorry for your loss.

I'm here from Blogexplosion today.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've lost two Dobermans, one in April 2004 and the other in June 2005. It never gets easier. My hubby had a dog the same breed as yours growing up and he said she was just the best.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Having dogs of my own (German Shepherds) I know what a great part of the family they become.
